Summer picnic a hit with participants

 The Buffalo Newspaper Guild held its annual summer picnic Aug. 4 at Como Lake Park in Lancaster.

 The day was sunny and warm, and the event was well attended by members, past and present. There were games of catch, t-ball and Can Jam, and a squirt gun war as well.

 The chicken and roast beef from Chick N’ Pizza Works was enjoyed by all, and there was enough left over for “doggie bags” for those that were interested.
