Social event raises money for Hurricane Sandy

Dozens of Guild members came out last Thursday for some camaraderie and a free hot drink from the visiting Rolling Joe’s Café truck.

Many News employees also generously contributed to the American Red Cross at a separate fund raising table. The Guild gratefully received everything from spare change to a $100 check and ultimately raised $436 toward Hurricane Sandy storm relief efforts.
