Results will be announced at general membership meeting Wednesday
A ratification vote on the tentative agreement between the Buffalo Newspaper Guild and The Buffalo News will be held from 9 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in the fifth-floor cafeteria. Please do not forget to cast your ballot!
As previously stated, the two-year tentative agreement was unanimously endorsed by the bargaining team and provides for the continuation of fully-covered health insurance, a one-time $800 signing bonus for full-time Guild members, and a $400 bonus for part-time Guild members, among other negotiated benefits. A general membership meeting will be held the same day, Wednesday, at 5:30 p.m. in the first-floor auditorium. The final vote count will be announced then.
